The 10-position member of the Micro-Fit 3.0 SMT family
The Molex 430451011 is a 10-circuit, dual-row header in the Micro-Fit 3.0 43045 series, mounted right-angle on the PCB surface at a 0.118-inch (3.00 mm) pitch. The 8 A per-contact rating handles power distribution in harness runs; the 600 V voltage ceiling covers most industrial and automotive bus rails without derating. The mating face carries gold plating at 30.0 µin (0.76 µm) over brass — that thickness puts it above a flash gold and gives meaningful re-mating cycle life. The solder-tail side is thick tin at 100.0 µin (2.54 µm), which wets reliably in reflow and resists whisker growth better than a thin tin wash. The 4-wall shroud and locking ramp mechanically lock the mating housing in place; add the solder retention feature on the tails and you have a connector that stays seated through vibration without a secondary epoxy or clip.
What the series is used for
Micro-Fit 3.0 sits in the mid-density power header class — it bridges the gap between a fragile ribbon-header current rating and an over-specified circular power block. The 43045 series targets automotive control modules, industrial IO modules, and medical instrument panels where the harness sees thermal cycling, vibration, and occasional field service reconnects. The UL94 V-0 rated LCP insulator supports those environments without a separate flame barrier.
Sourcing and compliance
Listed Active with ROHS3 Compliant status — no LTB flag, no NRND notice in the record. Quoted to order against the BOM quantity; confirm reel vs cut-tape packaging for your SMT line setup. The insulation material is Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), Glass Filled, rated -40°C to 105°C operating — wide enough for under-hood and outdoor industrial enclosures without a derating penalty above room temperature.
