What it is
The Molex 430451224 is a 12-circuit dual-row Micro-Fit 3.0 header in the 43045 series — a 3.00 mm pitch board-to-cable power interconnect with a four-wall shroud and locking ramp. The mating face and solder-tail finish are both tin (60.0 µin / 1.52 µm on the mating side), plated over brass. Through-hole kinked-pin termination gives solder joint integrity in production and in field replacement. The housing is black glass-filled LCP rated UL94 V-0.
Key ratings and what they mean
Where this class is used
Board-to-cable Micro-Fit 3.0 headers are a standard power take-off in automotive harnesses, industrial automation modules, and medical equipment where a discrete wire feed needs a reliable, keyed, locking-mate to a PCB. The four-wall shroud and locking ramp prevent accidental disconnection under vibration — the design intent is harness-to-board, not board-to-board. Mating half is the matching Micro-Fit 3.0 receptacle housing.
