The Molex 430451612 is the 16-circuit, dual-row member of the Micro-Fit 3.0 43045 series — a shrouded, through-hole header with a 3.00 mm pitch that mates with the matching Micro-Fit 3.0 receptacle housing for board-to-wire power distribution.
The 3.00 mm pitch and 0.118" row spacing give enough creepage for the 600 V rating without forcing an oversized board footprint. The kinked solder tails (0.125" post length) lock into the plated-through holes during wave solder and resist pull-out from cable strain. No secondary latch or screw lock, so the vibration resistance depends on the ramp engagement and the shroud walls.
This header mates with any Micro-Fit 3.0 receptacle housing in the same 16-circuit, dual-row configuration — the matching crimp housings use the 43045 series female terminals (20-24 AWG). The through-hole kinked-pin termination is wave-solder friendly; the kink holds the component in place during board handling before the solder joint sets.
