The Molex 430451811 is the 18-circuit, dual-row member of the Micro-Fit 3.0 43045 series — a shrouded SMT right-angle header designed for board-to-wire power and signal interconnects in automotive, industrial, medical, and telecom equipment. The 3.00 mm pitch and row spacing match the standard Micro-Fit 3.0 receptacle footprint, and the 8 A per-circuit rating with gold-plated mating contacts supports repeated mating cycles in field-serviceable harnesses.
Mounting and Termination
Surface-mount right-angle orientation places the connector at the board edge, parallel to the PCB, saving Z-height in a shallow enclosure. The shrouded 4-wall design protects the pins during handling and guides the receptacle into alignment. Solder retention features hold the part in place during reflow before the solder joints set. The -40°C to 105°C operating range covers under-hood and cabinet environments without derating concerns.
