Ratings that drive the fit
The 430451813: Rated 8 A per contact at 600 V — the 3.00 mm pitch and the 8 A rating put this squarely in mid-power harness territory: automotive ECU节点, industrial actuator feeds, medical system power rails. The current rating applies per circuit with all contacts live simultaneously. Contact plating is split: gold 15.0 µin (0.38 µm) on the mating face for durability and low contact resistance at first mate, tin 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) on the solder post for solderability and long-term oxidation resistance on the board side. The gold thickness is the meaningful spec for cycle life — 15 µin Au is mid-tier, not premium. Shrouded four-wall body with a locking ramp on the header — the shroud adds mechanical protection around the pin array and the ramp locks into the matching receptacle housing. Board guide features help alignment during assembly. Square pin, kinked through-hole solder tail — the kinked pin seats in the PCB hole before solder reflow and resists pull-out during handling.
