Tin contacts at 60.0 µ" are thick enough for the rated current but limit the connector to low mating-cycle duty — expect tens of cycles, not hundreds. The -40°C to 75°C operating range covers most industrial cabinet environments but doesn't extend to under-hood automotive or outdoor enclosures without additional thermal derating above 75°C.
This 431602106 is the 6-position through-hole vertical header with board lock. Against the 431600106 — same 6 positions, same pitch and ratings, but in bulk packaging without a board lock — the 431602106 adds the lock for wave-solder retention and vibration resistance. The 431603106 is the right-angle version of the same 6-position header, useful when the board edge constrains the harness exit direction.
