Product Introduction
The Molex 431604302 is the 2-position member of the Sabre 43160 series — a single-row, through-hole header with male blade contacts on a 7.50 mm pitch. It is designed for wire-to-board power interconnect in harness assemblies where the wide pitch provides the creepage distance needed for the 600 V rating.
The 18 A per circuit is a bus-level current rating; each blade carries the main DC rail, not a signal line. Tin contacts at 60.0 µin are suited for low-cycle-count power applications (mating life is lower than gold), but the plating thickness is heavy enough to handle repeated insertion in a harness assembly.
Against the 431600105 — the 5-position version at the same 7.50 mm pitch, same 18 A and 600 V ratings, same tin contacts — the 431604302 is a 2-position header. The 431600105 ships in Bulk; the 431604302 ships in Tray. The 431604302 also carries a board lock; the 431600105 does not.
