The housing accepts the crimped terminals, which lock into the cavity with an audible click. Termination is crimp-only; no solder or IDC option exists for this series.
The 436802004 is the 4-position version of the same plug housing — same 7.50 mm pitch, same 18 A rating, same locking ramp and natural colour. The only decision-relevant difference is position count: 3 vs 4. If your BOM calls for 3 circuits, the 436801003 fits; if you need 4, step up to the 436802004. No other functional delta exists between them.
