The 455580003: Rated 8 A per contact at 600 V — the combination puts this squarely in low-to-medium power distribution duty, well above signal-level headers at the same pitch. The 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) tin plating on both mating and post surfaces handles the current without requiring gold, and the PA/Nylon insulation holds the -40°C to 105°C operating window without derating at the upper limit.
Mechanical fit and board attachment
The through-hole right-angle orientation places the post length at 0.142" (3.60 mm) with a 0.378" (9.60 mm) insulation height above the board surface — the board lock feature adds侧向 retention in the PCB hole without a separate mounting bracket. The 4-wall shroud fully encloses the contact area, preventing mis-mate and providing secondary polarization when paired with a keyed housing.
