Power blade receptacle for board-edge distribution
The Molex 464369310 is a 10-position, single-row receptacle in the EXTreme Ten60Power 46436 series, designed to carry 60 A per circuit through female blade sockets. The 0.217" (5.50 mm) pitch provides enough creepage distance for the 600 VAC / 250 VDC rating without forcing an oversized board footprint — it's a deliberate balance between power density and PCB real estate. The press-fit termination means this connector is intended for solderless backplane assembly: no reflow profile to qualify, no solder voids in the power path, and individual contacts can be replaced in the field if a blade gets damaged.
60 A per circuit — bus-level current on a single blade
Each power blade is rated 60 A. The 30.0 µ" gold plating supports repeated mating cycles.
Press-fit and right-angle — built for the backplane
The press-fit termination is the key manufacturability feature here: it eliminates the soldering step, which means no thermal stress on the PCB, no solder-joint inspection, and the connector can be pressed into a plated through-hole with a simple arbor press. The right-angle orientation, combined with the board guide and mating guide features, makes this a natural fit for a power module that plugs into a backplane or a mid-plane.
10 positions vs the 7-position sibling
The 464369310 carries 10 power positions, compared to the 7-position 464369307 at the same 5.50 mm pitch and 60 A per circuit rating. Both are single-row, right-angle, press-fit receptacles with 30.0 µ" gold contacts.
