17-Circuit SL Crimp Housing for Wire-to-Board Harnesses
The Molex 50-57-9217 is a 17-circuit single-row crimp housing from the SL (Stackable Linear) interconnect series.
Mating and Terminal Compatibility
This housing accepts Molex SL-series crimp terminals (such as the 70058 series for 22-28 AWG or 71851 series for 18-24 AWG), which are inserted from the rear and lock into the cavity with a positive retention tang. The front ramp ribs on the housing top surface engage with corresponding slots on the mating SL header, ensuring correct orientation during assembly. For terminal removal, a standard SL extraction tool (Molex 11-03-0025) depresses the locking tang through the front face of the housing. The 17-circuit count matches a 17-position through-hole or SMT SL header on the board side.
