20-Circuit SL Housing with Front Ribs
The Molex 50-57-9220 is a 20-circuit, single-row SL-series crimp housing. The front polarization ribs key the housing to the matching header, preventing mis-mating in multi-position harnesses. This is the receptacle side of the SL wire-to-board system, designed to accept crimp terminals terminated to discrete wires.
This housing mates with the SL-series pin headers, both vertical and right-angle, on 2.54 mm pitch. The 20-circuit count matches headers like the 70553-0020 or 70551-0020. The housing also accepts the SL crimp terminals — the standard 70058 series for 22-28 AWG or the 70021 for 18-24 AWG — which are inserted from the rear and locked by a terminal retention tang.
