Bulk Packaging, SMT Termination
Supplied in Bulk packaging — tubes or trays, not tape-and-reel. For high-volume pick-and-place lines, this may require a tube feeder or manual loading, which affects throughput. For prototype or low-volume builds, bulk is straightforward. SMT termination means the connector reflows with the board. The ZIF actuator must remain open during reflow to prevent solder wicking into the contact area; verify the recommended solder profile in the product drawing.
