The 54550-0433 is the 4-circuit member of Molex's 0.5 mm pitch FPC ZIF housing line, a straight-through assembly for flat flex cable termination.
What the 0.5 mm pitch means for the fit
The 0.5 mm contact pitch drives the board footprint — at this density the FPC traces and PCB pads must match within the same 0.5 mm centerline to avoid misalignment during ZIF insertion. The ZIF housing accepts the FPC without a secondary latch; the front-flip lock holds the flex in place once the actuator is closed.
