The Milli-Grid series uses a dual-beam contact design that wipes the header pin on insertion, keeping contact resistance low over repeated mates. The receptacle body is keyed to prevent mis-mating. Termination is crimp-style – the receptacle accepts the Milli-Grid crimp terminal, which is then inserted into the housing. The terminal locks into the cavity with a positive retention latch. No soldering required at the wire end, which simplifies field repair and harness rework.
