2-Position Power Header for Board-Edge Distribution
The Molex 876842001 is a 2-position header with male blades from the EXTreme PowerPlus 87684 series, designed as a power-only interconnect for board-edge mounting. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 70°C.
This header mounts board edge, through hole, right angle — the solder tails go through the PCB and the connector body sits perpendicular to the board edge. The 2-position single-row layout keeps the footprint narrow, useful for tight edge clearance near a chassis wall or busbar. Termination is solder only — no press-fit option here, so the board goes through a wave or selective solder process. The right-angle orientation means the connector is hand-placed before soldering; no board lock is listed, so the solder joints bear all the mechanical retention.
