Molex 1501 Series — FFC/FPC Jumper Cables, 1.00mm Pitch
The Molex 1501 series is a 1.00mm pitch flexible flat cable (FFC) jumper assembly with nearly 300 variants covering conductor counts from 4 to 60 and cable lengths from 30mm to 305mm. The 1.00mm pitch provides a balance between the ultra-dense 0.50mm pitch (challenging for manual assembly) and the standard 1.25mm pitch (lower density), making the 1501 series the most commonly used FFC jumper in embedded systems, printers, and consumer electronics.
1501 (1.00mm) vs 1502 (1.25mm) FFC Jumpers
The 1501 uses 1.00mm pitch — 25% higher density than the 1.25mm 1502 series. This makes 1501 the default for applications where the matching connector is 1.00mm pitch and space is constrained. 1502 (1.25mm) is preferred when easier manual handling matters or when the PCB connector pitch has already been set at 1.25mm.
