Fit and ratings
1A per contact at 125VAC is signal/power hybrid territory — adequate for low-level power rails on individual circuits, but the limiting factor on this part is the gold FLASH mating finish, not the 50 µin tin on the solder tail. Flash is a cosmetic/durability plating — it handles one or two mates cleanly but degrades faster under repeated cycling than a full gold-grade counterpart. If the assembly sees field mate/unmate cycles, this is the spec to scrutinise. The thermoplastic housing is rated UL94 V-0, and the operating window spans -55 to 125°C — wide enough for most industrial and telecom backplane environments.
BOM check
80 positions — confirm the BOM line count matches. The push-pull fastening type means there is no jack-screw or friction-lock secondary retention on the header itself; the mating receptacle must provide the polarisation and retention. If the board stack sees vibration, verify the receptacle's lock meets the requirement. The unshrouded pin field also relies entirely on the receptacle housing for alignment and keying.
Sourcing
Listed Active. No official successor listed. Quoted to order against BOM quantity — submit an RFQ to confirm lead time and any minimum order quantity the series carries. All 80 positions are loaded; the part ships in tube packaging.
