What this connector is
The Molex 65781-047 is a dual-row 22-position board-to-board receptacle in the Dubox series, terminated by through-hole solder pins on a 0.100" (2.54mm) grid. Push-pull mating with a corresponding Dubox header delivers the fastening — no jack-screw or locking clip to source separately. The glass-filled polyester housing carries a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, making it suitable for industrial control and instrumentation applications where flame-retardant housing material is specified.
Contact plating and what it means for the application
Both the mating face and the post receive tin plating, but the thickness differs: the mating interface carries 100.0 µin (2.54 µm) while the solder tail gets 30.0 µin (0.76 µm). The heavier mating-side plating resists wear across reconnection cycles better than a light flash — the post-side thickness is adequate for a reliable solder joint but is not designed for repeated mate/unmate at that face. If this connector sees field service connections rather than a one-time board-to-board mate in production, the thin post-side plating is the limiting factor.
