The Amphenol FCI 66429-302LF is the 26-position member of the Quickie series — a dual-row 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch shrouded header designed for board-to-cable/wire interconnects. It mounts right-angle through-hole and carries latch lock/eject hooks on the housing for tool-free unmating, with a 4-wall shroud that fully encloses the contact array and a keying slot that pairs it with the matching keyed receptacle.
Contact Finish and What It Means
Contacts are gold-plated at 15.0µin (0.38µm) on the mating face, applied over a phosphor bronze alloy body. At this thickness the finish supports repeated mating cycles without the grain-boundary wear that thins out tin finishes after a handful of cycles — making this suited for field-serviceable cable assemblies rather than one-time permanent joins.
Material and Safety Rating
The housing is glass-filled PBT rated UL94 V-0 for flame retardance, which is the minimum for industrial equipment enclosures and most consumer product housings.
