Contact finish is gold or Gold GXT™ at 15.0 µin (0.38 µm) thickness on the mating surface — the thicker gold flash supports repeated mating cycles and maintains low contact resistance in field-service scenarios. The 4-wall shroud and push-pull keying slot are the distinguishing features over a plain unshrouded header: the shroud adds mechanical protection to the pin array, and the keying slot prevents mis-mate in multi-connector harness builds where multiple Quickie headers sit in the same panel.
