Pin-One and Orientation
The 87052-420HLF: Unshrouded headers expose all 20 pins — there is no molded polarizing key to stop a mis-oriented mate, so the board layout must lock the header orientation or the assembler must mark pin one clearly on the silkscreen. Pin-one orientation matters most in a ribbon-cable context or when the receiving receptacle has a chamfer that only accepts the header in one rotation — confirm the mating half's keying before committing the footprint.
