Through-hole push-pull mounting with square pin contacts — the contact shape provides consistent seating in the plated through-hole during wave or hand soldering. Contact material is phosphor bronze, plated 100 µin (2.54 µm) tin on the mating face and the solder tail. Insulation height is 0.100" (2.54 mm), matching the pitch grid — the body sits flush with the board surface at the same z-height as the routing pitch, so the header does not add step-over to adjacent trace routing. Contact engagement length on the mating side is 0.820" (20.83 mm), giving ample insertion depth when mated to the matching receptacle.
