The Molex 93690-105-16LF is the 16-circuit member of the BERGSTIK® breakaway header series, a dual-row 0.100-inch (2.54 mm) pitch male pin header rated 5 A per circuit at up to 110 V. It mounts through-hole and accepts both press-fit and solder termination, giving it flexibility on board-attach. The contact system uses gold GXT™ plating (0.76 µm) on the mating face and tin (1.00 µm) on the solder post — the precious metal protects the interface that cycles, while tin covers the joint that solders.
The 16 positions span two rows at 0.100-inch row spacing; all positions are loaded. Square pin geometry and a 0.327-inch (8.30 mm) mating length provide a secure press-into-socket fit. The push-pull fastening type handles passive retention; the unshrouded body makes the header easy to visualise in tight board layouts and simplifies hand-soldering access. Black UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing keeps the assembly flame-rated for industrial and instrumentation enclosures.
