The Amphenol RF 000-16300 is a 7-piece BNC plug kit built for field termination onto RG-type coax. The connector style is BNC, the impedance is 50 Ohm, and the plug carries a male pin contact — the standard interface for test equipment, radio base stations, and instrumentation where the signal path needs a bayonet-coupled 50 Ohm reference. The kit ships in a single bag and includes the connector body, a braid clamp, a cable clamp, one silver-plated brass centre contact, a gasket, a PTFE insulator, and a washer. Cable Groups This Plug Accepts
The braid clamp and centre contact dimensions are matched to a specific range of coax cables: RG-122, 180, 180A, 180B, 195, Belden 1855, and 1865A. If your cable isn't on that list, the clamp won't grip the braid correctly and the impedance match through the transition will drift.
That 4 GHz ceiling covers L-band, S-band, and the lower end of C-band — enough for most cellular backhaul, GPS antenna feeds, and laboratory signal generators. The 500 mating cycles mean the centre contact and dielectric survive repeated connect-disconnect cycles in test-rack or field-service use before the insertion loss drifts.
