50-Ohm BNC Plug for RG-58 and LMR-195 Coax
The 031-5557-RFX: It ships as two pieces — the connector body and a separate ferrule — so you crimp the centre contact, then crimp the ferrule over the braid for the shield termination.
4 GHz Ceiling and 500 V Rating
Rated to 4 GHz maximum frequency, this plug covers the full VHF/UHF band and most video and RF test applications up through the lower microwave range. Insertion loss is specified at 0.2 dB, which is low enough that a single connector pair adds negligible signal attenuation in a short cable run.
This plug accepts RG-58, RG-58B, RG-58C, RG-141, RG-303, LMR-195, Belden B7806A, and Belden 9907. All are 50-Ohm cables, so the ferrule and centre-contact crimp dimensions are sized for that common jacket and dielectric OD.
Wide Temperature Range and Materials
The dielectric is polyoxymethylene (POM) acetal, which holds its dielectric properties across the full temperature span.
