50 Ohm BNC Jack, 6 GHz, for RG-59/62/210 — What the Kit Delivers
The 031-5936-RFX: The 500-cycle mating life with a gold-plated phosphor bronze centre contact means it is built for field-service reconnect duty, not a single-install-and-forget termination. The PTFE dielectric and brass body with nickel finish hold the impedance through the crimp transition — the ferrule and gasket are included in the kit so the cable-side seal is part of the assembly from the start.
Cable Fit — RG-59, 62, 210, and More
The 031-5936-RFX is crimped onto RG-59, 59B, 62, 140, 210, Belden 8241, 8263, 8279, and 9209. That covers the common 75 Ohm video cables (RG-59, 59B) and the 50 Ohm thin-net cables (RG-58-class 62, 140, 210) — the same ferrule handles the diameter range. If your BOM calls for RG-174 or LMR-100, this is not the right ferrule; the cable group is the first fit check before committing the line.
Mounting and Termination — Bulkhead Front-Side Nut, Crimp Centre and Shield
The shield termination is crimp; the centre contact is also crimp. No separate crimp die set is in the kit; you supply the hex die for the ferrel and centre pin.
