BNC Plug for 75 Ohm Video and Data Networks
The 031-70238: It ships as a 3-piece kit containing the connector body, one contact, and one ferrule. The bayonet lock provides quick, secure mating, and the nickel-plated brass body with a gold-plated centre contact supports up to 500 mating cycles.
For new builds, evaluate the 75 Ohm BNC product line from Amphenol RF for a form-fit-function match; the 031-70238 is still a viable option for legacy repairs or BOM fills where the cable group and 75 Ohm impedance are locked.
This plug is engineered for AT&T 735, 735A, and Belden 735A1 cable groups — the crimp dimensions and ferrule are matched to those dielectric diameters and braid configurations. The centre contact is crimped, and the shield is terminated via a separate crimp ferrule.
Electrical and Mechanical Ratings
The 500 V voltage rating and 4 GHz frequency ceiling cover most baseband video and low-power RF links.
