The 031-70526-21: Rated to 12 GHz, it carries the 75 Ohm characteristic impedance common in video distribution, broadcast, and high-frequency data acquisition — not the 50 Ohm standard of general-purpose RF.
What Ships in the Box
The lockwasher and nut are the front-side mounting hardware for the panel-mount feature — you get everything needed to secure the connector through a panel cutout, no separate hardware order.
Mounting Options and Termination
The nickel-plated brass body provides RF shielding and corrosion resistance. Shield termination is solder — the outer braid of the coax solders to the shell body. The center contact termination is also solder, accepting the signal conductor. The PTFE dielectric maintains consistent impedance through the interface.
Temperature Range and Construction
The center contact material is beryllium copper — chosen for its spring properties and resistance to relaxation over repeated mating cycles — plated with gold for corrosion protection and low contact resistance.
