Cable Compatibility and Field Fit
This plug is dimensioned for Belden 4694R — the cable group is stamped right on the spec. If you're terminating Belden 4694P instead, the sibling 031-70558-12G uses the same body but swaps the gasket for a separate contact. For RG59 or other 75-Ohm cables, the dielectric diameter and braid OD won't match the ferrule and center contact bore; you'd need a different Amphenol BNC kit for those cables. The PTFE dielectric keeps phase stable across that span.
