Cable Prep and Assembly
The 034-5026: This plug is built for RG-405 semi-rigid cable, the common.085" or.086" diameter. The center contact solders to the signal pin; the shield solders directly to the connector body. The PTFE insulator positions the contact inside the body. No crimp tool needed — just a soldering iron and the right cable strip dimensions from the datasheet.
Signal Path and Bandwidth
The 6 GHz maximum frequency covers L-band through C-band, making this useful for test equipment, base station RF paths, and microwave interconnect where a standard BNC would roll off above 4 GHz. The HD (High Density) BNC interface is not the same as a standard BNC — the shell diameter is smaller, so it will not mate with a standard BNC jack. It mates only with a matching HD BNC receptacle.
