FME Plug for RG-58 — 50 Ohm, 200 MHz, Crimp Kit
The FME interface is a compact threaded coupling — smaller than a TNC, more secure than a BNC — and the 50 Ohm impedance holds the signal path clean for baseband video, GPS, land-mobile radio, and telemetry links up to 200 MHz. The crimp termination covers the cable group RG-58, 58A, 58B, 58C, 141, 303, LMR-195, Belden B7806A, and 9907, which covers the bulk of installed low-power coax.
Threaded Coupling and 500 Mating Cycles
The threaded fastening type locks the plug to the mating FME jack — a half-turn loose is a dropout, so the thread is your vibration-proofing.
Construction and Shielding
Brass body with nickel finish. Shield termination is crimp. Dielectric is PTFE.
