N-Type Jack for 11 GHz Signal Paths
The 082-4438: The silver-plated beryllium copper center contact and PTFE dielectric keep insertion loss to 0.15 dB across the band. Rated for 1500 V and 500 mating cycles, this panel-mount bulkhead connector uses a threaded coupling for vibration-resistant field connections. It accepts cable groups RG-55, 142, 223, and 400, with the shield terminated via crimp and the center contact crimp or solder.
The 082-4438 is listed as obsolete. Buyers should evaluate a pin-compatible N-type jack from the same or alternate manufacturer for new builds.
The threaded fastening type mates with any standard N-type plug. Shield termination is crimp; the center contact can be crimped or soldered.
Cable Group Compatibility
This jack is specified for RG-55, 142, 223, and 400 cable groups. The crimp shield termination and center contact design match the dielectric diameters of those cables. For other cable types, verify the dielectric OD and center conductor size against the contact dimensions before ordering.
