N-Type Jack for RG-8X and LMR-240 Cable Assemblies
It ships as a complete installation kit: the connector body, center contact, crimp ferrule, panel gasket, PTFE insulator, lockwasher, and hex nut are all included in one order code. The 50 Ohm impedance and 11 GHz frequency ceiling place it in the upper band of N-type performance, suitable for base station feeders, antenna jumpers, and test cable assemblies where the N interface's threaded coupling is preferred over BNC or TNC for vibration resistance.
This jack is dimensioned for RG-8X, Belden 9258, and LMR-240 — all 0.240-inch-diameter cables with a solid or stranded center conductor and a foam or solid polyethylene dielectric. The crimp ferrule captures the braid shield; the center contact crimps onto the conductor.
The bulkhead front-side nut mounting means the jack installs from the outside of the panel — the connector body passes through the cutout, and the hex nut tightens from the front. The included gasket seals the panel interface against moisture ingress when the nut is torqued to spec. The nickel-plated brass body provides the ground path and corrosion resistance for outdoor or industrial cabinet installations. Single-port, threaded fastening, silver housing.
