The Amphenol RF 082-66-RFX is a straight N-to-N series adapter — two N jacks, female-to-female, joined back-to-back in a single body.
Frequency and Temperature Headroom
Rated to 11 GHz max, this adapter covers L-band through X-band — enough for most test-equipment, antenna feed, and base-station runs. The nickel body finish resists corrosion on outdoor bulkhead mounts.
Kit Contents and Installation
The gasket seals the panel side of the bulkhead — no separate silicone or O-ring to source. The lockwasher prevents the nut from backing off under vibration. Install from the outside of the panel, torque the nut, and both sides present a standard N jack interface.
The 082-6348 is the stainless-steel version of this same adapter — same N-to-N straight jack-to-jack, same 11 GHz rating, same kit contents. The 082-66-RFX uses a brass body with nickel finish; the 082-6348 uses stainless steel. The 82-101-RFX is also brass/nickel but lacks the gasket and lockwasher — it ships as a bare adapter body only. If the install needs the sealing gasket and vibration lockwasher, the 082-66-RFX is the one that includes them.
