DDR2 SODIMM Socket, 200-Position, 30° Angle SMT
The 10033854-252TSRLF: This is a 200-position DDR2 SODIMM connector from Amphenol ICC (FCI), designed to mate with standard DDR2 small-outline dual in-line memory modules. The 30° angle SMT mounting orients the module parallel to the board surface, saving vertical height in compact laptop and embedded system designs. The gold contact finish at 11.8µin (0.30µm) provides a reliable, low-resistance interface for the high-speed DDR2 memory bus. The connector includes board guides and latches to align and secure the module during insertion and under vibration. It conforms to the MO-274 standard for DDR2 SODIMM form factor, ensuring mechanical and electrical compatibility with industry-standard memory modules.
Mounting and Orientation for Board Layout
Surface mount with a 30° angle — the connector body sits at a 30-degree angle relative to the PCB, allowing the inserted SODIMM to lie nearly flat. This is the standard orientation for DDR2 SODIMM sockets in space-constrained designs like notebooks and embedded single-board computers. The reverse mounting feature means the connector is flipped compared to a standard orientation — confirm the module insertion direction matches your PCB layout before committing the BOM position.
Compatibility: DDR2 Only
This connector is specified for DDR2 SDRAM memory modules. DDR3 SODIMM modules use a different keying notch position and a higher pin count (204 positions vs 200), so a DDR3 module will not mechanically fit this socket. Do not attempt to force a DDR3 module into this DDR2 connector.
