Product details

Mounting Flexibility: End Launch or Panel Mount

The 102-692-04: This receptacle supports two mounting methods: board-edge end launch for direct PCB attachment, or panel mount via the bulkhead front-side nut. The end-launch option lets you solder the centre pin and shield directly to a microstrip or coplanar waveguide on the board edge, keeping the RF launch short. For panel installations, the included lockwasher and nut secure the connector from the front side of the panel — the nut tightens against the lockwasher to prevent vibration loosening. The 1.0/2.3 interface is push-pull fastening, so no tool is needed for mating or unmating.

50 Ohm Impedance, 6 GHz Bandwidth — What That Means for Signal Integrity

The 50 Ohm impedance matches the standard RF system impedance. The 6 GHz maximum frequency covers L-band through C-band applications.
