The 132113RP is an RP-SMA plug with a female socket centre contact — the reverse-polarity variant that swaps genders at the interface pin while keeping the same threaded coupling nut.
This plug is built for RG-58, RG-58A, RG-58B, RG-58C, RG-141, RG-303, LMR-195, Belden B7806A, and Belden 9907 — all 50 Ohm cables with a nominal dielectric diameter that matches the PTFE support bushing. The termination sequence is: strip the cable to the dimensions in the instruction sheet, slide the ferrule over the jacket, solder the centre contact onto the centre conductor, push the assembly into the body until the contact seats, then crimp the ferrule over the braid with the correct hex die. The crimp ferrule captures the shield and provides the strain relief.
12.4 GHz Ceiling and What It Means
The 12.4 GHz maximum frequency puts this connector squarely in the upper end of the RP-SMA band — standard SMA interfaces are typically rated to 18 GHz, but the reverse-polarity geometry trades a few GHz of headroom for compatibility with Wi-Fi, ISM, and cellular infrastructure gear that requires RP-SMA. At 12.4 GHz the connector stays within its designed VSWR window; pushing it beyond that frequency risks a mode transition in the PTFE bead. For sub-6 GHz work (LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, CBRS) the margin is generous.
