The Amphenol 132194RP is an RP-SMA (Reverse Polarity SMA) plug with a female socket centre contact, designed for field-termination on coaxial cables in the RG-55, 142, 223, and 400 groups.

Termination Sequence — Crimp Shield, Solder Centre

Shield termination is crimp; centre conductor termination is solder. The assembly sequence: strip the cable to the specified dimensions for the cable group, tin the centre conductor, slide the end cap and ferrule onto the cable, solder the centre pin to the conductor, then crimp the ferrule over the braid using the correct hex die for the cable diameter. The threaded coupling nut provides a secure, vibration-resistant mate — 500 mating cycles are rated, supported by gold plating on the centre contact and the brass body.
