The 132286RP: It mates with an RP-SMA female socket (which has the internal barrel), not with a standard SMA female. The connector is rated for DC through 12.4 GHz at 50 Ohm nominal impedance, covering ISM bands, L-band, S-band, and most wireless infrastructure frequencies below Ku-band. The gold-plated brass body and PTFE dielectric keep insertion loss consistent across the band. The kit includes all eight pieces needed for a complete install: the connector body, a crimp ferrule for shield termination, a solder centre contact, a PTFE insulator, a silicone gasket, a lockwasher, a hex nut, and a sleeving tube. No separate hardware order required.
The crimp ferrule and centre contact are sized for RG-178, RG-178B, RG-196, RG-196A, and M17/93-RG178 — all thin-diameter 50 Ohm coax.
The gold-over-brass centre contact and gold body finish resist corrosion and maintain low contact resistance through repeated mate-unmate cycles in field-service or test-bench use. The 132134-11 is another standard SMA jack (female socket) with an 18 GHz frequency ceiling, useful if the application needs Ku-band coverage. But it also uses solder shield termination and beryllium copper contacts — a different termination workflow and contact material set.
