The centre contacts are brass and phosphor bronze, tin-plated. Tin plating is adequate for the low mating-cycle count typical of an F-type adapter (install once, leave it); for frequent reconnects a gold-plated centre contact would be preferred, but that is not what this part carries.

Both are 75 Ohm, 2 GHz, nickel-plated brass, and tin-plated centre contacts. The difference is the body angle: the 222F-90 exits the cable at a right angle; the 222157 exits straight. Choose the 222F-90 when the cable run needs a 90-degree turn at the adapter — for example, routing coax flat against a wall plate or inside a shallow enclosure. Choose the 222157 when the cable continues in line with the connector.
