Fastening is snap-on — push to mate, pull to unmate. The mating cycles are rated at 500, which is typical for an MCX interface; the gold-on-beryllium copper contact surfaces keep the connection resistance stable through that many cycles.
It is designed for RG-405 (.085" /.086" semi-rigid) coax cable. The solder-on shield termination and centre contact are sized for that specific cable group.
The mating half is an MCX jack (female socket) with snap-on fastening. The Amphenol RF 252151-75 is one example — a 75 Ohm MCX jack that mates with this plug.
