What the MCX Interface Means for the Fit
MCX is a subminiature push-on RF connector family, smaller than SMB, designed for DC to 6 GHz operation in a 50 Ohm system. The snap-on fastening gives a quick mate and unmated cycle without a coupling nut — useful for test points, pigtail adapters, or board-to-cable interconnects where panel space is tight. The female socket centre contact mates with the male pin of the corresponding MCX plug.
