50 Ohm Fakra Plug, Code Z — 2FA1-NZSP-PCB-3
The 2FA1-NZSP-PCB-3 is an Amphenol RF Fakra SMB plug, male pin, terminated through-hole right-angle to the PCB. The Code Z keying, identified by the blue/water housing color, prevents cross-mating with other Fakra color codes on the same vehicle or panel. The locking ramp fastening holds the mate under vibration, which is the whole point of the Fakra standard over a plain SMB. The zinc die-cast body gets a tin finish.
Code Z vs Code C — Not a Drop-In Swap
The FA1-NCRP-PCB-8 is the same Fakra SMB plug with Code C keying and a blue/signal housing color. Same 50 Ohm impedance, same 6 GHz frequency ceiling (where the 2FA1-NZSP-PCB-3 is rated 3 GHz), same 100 mating cycles, same locking ramp, same body material and finish. The difference is the keying code and the housing color — Code Z (blue/water) vs Code C (blue/signal). The mechanical footprint on the PCB is identical, but the keying profile on the latch prevents a Code Z plug from engaging a Code C receptacle. If the harness side is wired for Code C, this part will not mate.
