The 31-221-RFX: It ships as a complete kit: one connector, one lockwasher, one hex nut, and one solder tag — no separate hardware order needed. The extended insulation feature provides additional creepage distance between the centre contact and the shell, useful when the cable jacket is stripped back further than usual or when the connector sits near a grounded chassis edge.

The body is zinc die cast with a nickel finish, giving a durable silver appearance that matches standard BNC panel hardware. Termination is solder cup — the centre contact accepts a tinned or bare wire end; the shield connects via the included solder tag, which is soldered to the cable braid and clamped under the nut. The bayonet lock provides quick quarter-turn mating with any standard BNC plug.
