The 31-315: This plug is built for RG-174, RG-188, RG-188A, RG-316, LMR-100, and M17/119-RG174 cables. The crimp ferrule and centre contact dimensions are matched to these 0.100-inch-diameter class coax types. If you are terminating RG-58 or RG-59, this is the wrong kit — look at the 31-320-RFX instead, which is specced for the larger RG-58 group.

RF Performance and Mechanical Ratings

The bayonet lock gives positive retention with a quarter-turn, and the 500-cycle mating life means this plug survives field-service reconnections without contact wear issues.
