Product details

The 31-320-1006: This plug accepts RG-58, 58A, 58B, 58C, 141, 303, LMR-195, Belden B7806A, and 9907 cables — essentially the common 0.195-inch-diameter 50 Ohm coax family with a solid or stranded centre conductor. The centre contact can be crimped or soldered; the shield termination is crimp-only via the included ferrule. For a field-installed cable assembly, the crimp ferrule provides a gas-tight shield termination that outlasts soldered braid under flex.

The gold-on-brass centre contact resists the fretting wear that would increase insertion loss over repeated connects. The bayonet lock does not require a tool to mate, which speeds field swaps but means the retention force is lower than a threaded interface — fine for bench and rack use; for high-vibration mobile installations, a threaded SMA or TNC would be the more vibration-resistant choice.

Frequently asked questions
