The socket must have a mating depth that accommodates the 0.260" (6.60 mm) pin length. Common mating parts include BERGSTIK® socket strips or generic 0.100" pitch female headers. For the PCB layout, the through-hole footprint requires 32 plated holes on a 0.100" grid. The post length of 0.105" (2.67 mm) suits standard 0.062" (1.6 mm) thick boards with through-hole soldering. The 0.100" insulation height leaves clearance under the header for trace routing.
