Through hole solder termination with a 0.114" (2.90 mm) post length — the post is tin-plated at 78.7 µinch (2.00 µm) for good solder wetting. Overall contact length is 0.480" (12.19 mm), which sets the board clearance for the mating connector body. The breakaway feature means the 22-position strip can be cut to a shorter length for a different circuit count on the same footprint — useful when one BOM position uses a 22-way header and another uses a 10-way from the same strip.
