With a 0.318" (8.08mm) mating pin length and 0.230" (5.84mm) solder post, the header reaches through a standard 1.6mm PCB and still leaves enough tail for a reliable through-hole solder fillet. Pair it with a matching BERGSTIK II receptacle housing or a standard 0.100" pitch IDC socket that accepts the 0.025" square pins.
